2002 High Lake Alert: Lake of the Woods water level is now an alarming 2 feet above normal. Many docks and lake front cottages have been flooded and its rising.
June 28 report issued by LWCB: The current level of Lake of the Woods is 323.55 m (1061.5 ft). This level is 54 cm (21 inches) above median for this time of year. The lake is expected to rise 15 cm (6 inches) over the next week. Over the next 3 weeks, the level is expected to rise 27 cm (11 inches) to a level 15 cm (6 inches) higher than in 2001.
